Sometimes referred to as a German style of finishing press, the one pictured has an overall length of 18", a distance between screws of 12", a maximum opening of 5"; the jaws are quarter sawn European beech, 6" x .875". Screws are Jatoba with 1" threads.
This is a very convenient light press for many operations.
