Insert tenons on tub sides into leg mortices. Note stamped identification letters on adjoining parts.
More recent versions of the press have the 5/16” threaded rod already inserted in the tub side-pieces; in this case simply sliced the threaded portion of the rod through the hole in the leg, and loosely spin on the nut and washer.
