The beech cheeks are laminated and squared, as well as drilled and threaded. The mortices for the wenge guide bars are cut in both cheeks, and the bars temporarily inserted. The jatoba screws have been cut, and one is shown glued into a square block, which can now be turned to shape for the round handle.
